I found out about this book when I was attending a small horror art fair in October of 2025 in North Hollywood, California. I met Jeff Heimuch as he had a booth there with promoting his book - and he had his puppet, Barry.
Jeff and I started chatting about self-publishing, since I wrote a children’s book as well and I knew I wanted to check his book, Barry Under Your Bed, as well.

If you have kids, this is a must-read
Even if you don’t have kids, you should still read it. The morale of the story is great, and the book is done well. The drawings by Cheyenne Francis are great too!
I know I’m a bit biased since I actually met Barry - but I do think kids will greatly enjoy this fun story, plus the message - about not judging a book by its cover - is a timeless and relevant lesson that we should all learn!
